After some cuddles with Snuffy this morning for her 12th birthday, I was off to spend some of my morning at Richmond Animal League taking photos of adorable kittens there for the weekend to get adopted! Good luck to these and more kitties, may they get loving forever homes.
I stopped by Richmond Animal League after work today for a quick photoshoot with Mila, a kitten in foster care, as well as a few kittens residing at the shelter (they’ll be spayed and neutered tomorrow. Mila is a sweetheart and would not stop purring!
It’s been a few weeks since I visited Richmond Animal League to play photographer with the cats/kittens, because I was recovering from surgery on my nose. I’m about 95% healed at this point and it doesn’t hurt that bad when someone bumps my nose, besides I was itching to get back to RAL to check out all the kittens! After a week off for my trip to Mexico, it was time to play photographer again at Richmond Animal League. I love volunteering every other Wednesday during my “weekend”. Once a year I get the chance to see my teammates in-person somewhere in the word (ok, I also see them at the Grand Meetup, but that’s different!). This year our team chose to visit Playa del Carmen (Mexico) for a week. Although hot and humid, it was beautiful and a very relaxing and enjoyable trip.
