About Me
Hi, I’m Carissa Faxlandez.
I live in Richmond, VA with my husband (Anthony), our daughter (Wilhelmina/Willa), and our many pets.
I work for Automattic (specifically WordPress.com). I lead a small team of Happiness Engineers and we support our customers!
When I’m not working or caring for the kiddo, I volunteer my time to animal rescue groups. I foster cats/kittens for Richmond Animal League and I perform various tech tasks for Take Me Home Pet Rescue where I used to live.
My other hobbies/obsessions in no particular order are: watching TV, playing board games, listening audiobooks, crocheting amigurumi, checking out new tech, and traveling (primarily to beaches).
